a few things i learned about this video... you can use what you have and still make it extraordinary, this video has definetly proved the hard work and dedication of this group. i really like this video because evn thought were all beginers in this class they worked so hard to make it look like it came from TV.

Holiday greetings :)

i think one thing i noticed we really did well was our sound and music we worked really hard trieng to get the sound right and add music in and fix it so it wouldnt over-power our voices and i think our hard work showed.

after watching other groups videos i wish we would have been more funny you know, loosen up a bit and act like i was joking around with a friend becuase i was kind of tired and it was kind of boring to watch myself throuhout the video.

well i made sure we wrote down our citation because i knew we were gonna need it. i made sure we stayed on track and helped with my knowledge on cumputer programs.

also to be honest i think i was much more familiar with the computer programs and how they functioned more than jessica, i noticed that i would have to help her alot with editing and fixing things in the video.my partner helped me by always bieng optimistic and helping with fresh ideas in our video i dont know what i would have done with out her she helped me alot when i got frustrated with the whole thing.

if i had another chance to to complete my project i would deffinetly work on the acting and on fixing the green screen because i mest up on that lot and for trieng to finish fast i didnt notice that i did it wrong.

im most satisfied with the music we chose and the humor we put in with out really noticing how funny it really was. what we thought was really helpful were the tips we got on what we could fix ad why we should fix it we didn't get any comments like " you should change that because we don't like it" .on our final video we ment to change alot but because of the lack of unified team work the things that were fixed would acidentaly get removed or moved.but i do love my team we just could always work at the same time or together on our video.

this is deffinetly something new to us but i think jessica and I made a really good team and in the process what we tried to do is experiment with the scale , what would make it better ? what would make it worse ? and it helped alot because after doing that we were so familiar with it that we didnt have to read the instructions the second tie and we were able to help others around us.

Insert

For BOTH f4v’s:
This is an example of an Insert edit.
AnInsert edit places a clip between other clips. To do this, you drag the clip over the area you wish to put it and hold down the "control" key . I decided to drag the clip i used because i wanted to just learn how to INSERT the clip in.

at the moment, I'm gonna be blunt about it i didn't drag the clip where it looked best i just dragged it somewhere in the middle because i just wanted to get it over with as soon as possible sorry.

The difference between an overlay and an insert edit. when you overlay a clip over another your recording over that existing clip where as when you insert edit you drag it between the other existing clips and what it does is it pushes the other clips aside to make room for the new clip.

this an example of an intro title it can be used at the beginning of a video to introduce what will come up it can be a
leading title, a title that pretty much say's it all like in this case.
at first i thought "oh how hard could making a title be"

but after experimenting with premier pro i learned how to do a whole bunch of stuff with the title and although i didn't incorporate it into my video
because of lack of time i learned a lot and will use the in the project we are working on. =)

Lifting and extracting

what i learned about lifting and extracting is that when you lift what your doing is removing a clip you want removed and when you lift it leaves a gap where that clip used to be.you can also just right click the mouse and click "cut" it does the same thing.

when you extract the clip from the timeline it shifts the remaining clips over to close that gap. you can also right click the mouse and click "ripple delete".

Overlay

This is an example of an overlay edit. An overlay edit places a clip over the existing clip recording over it. To do this, you drag the clip from the source panal or even the program panal onto the timeline and lay it over the clips on the timeline its actualy really simple.

The difference between an overlay and an insert edit.
You would use an overlay when you want to record over the clip in the timeline ,

while you’d use an insert edit when you wish to make room for a new clip and you want to insert it between other clips.

Sequence 01

i'm very happy with our final product i think it took us alot of mistakes to get it right but in the end we did improve on so much , i learned how to move video's around and also how to export much more efficiently than on my last project. my partner helped me by remnding me of our next task and how to do it step by step and in return i helped her how to upload our video on to youtube and then on to our blog. one thing i do want to learn is how to shift from clip to clip.

this is my final product to my video i think i did a good job for bieng my first time. it's not the best thing i messed up alot throughout the proces, i couldnt get the end point where i wished it would be i had trouble exporting it but in the end i got to know the program and my blog much better i know my way around now , for the future i will be prepared........ i hope.

the message of this video is to always be patient. by a little boy walking on wet cement and messing up all the mans hard work, the video communicates the message.the filmmaker did a really good job at showing the inocence of the little boy and the frustration of the man. in the begining of the video the camara shows only the little boys foot and the man working through out the video it starts to move nup and show the inocence of the little boy.
